This practice challenge has been based on Stephen Hendry’s Epic Skills Battle from his Cue Tips YouTube channel.

Snake in Order – No Cannons!
Line up the balls to form a snake shape as shown.
With the cue-ball placed for the first shot only, clear the balls in order from top to bottom of table without cannons.
Award a point for each ball potted!
Maximum score is 21 points.
The Hexagon
Spot colours and position six reds around the blue as shown.
The cue-ball place to start, take red-colour, red-colour until all the balls are potted.
The colours stay down when potted and all the balls are worth their normal values!
Maximum score is 33 points.
Speed Challenge
Line the 15 reds across the middle of the table as shown.
With the cue-ball placed for the first shot only, clear the 15 reds as quickly as possible within 90 seconds.
Award one point for every red potted and 10-point bonus if the all the reds are cleared within the time limit!
Maximum score is 25 points.
Hits the Reds off a Safety
Place red on black spot and 1-5 reds middle of baulk cushion.
Playing from behind the baulk line each time, have three goes at clipping off the red on the black spot bringing the cue-ball off three cushions to cannon the red/s.
5 reds = 1 point, 4 reds = 2 points, 3 reds = 3 points, 2 reds = 4 points and 1 red = 5 points!
Maximum score is 15 points.
Colours on the Wrong Spots
Spot the colours as shown.
With the cue ball placed for the first shot only, clear the colours in normal order but off their wrong spots.
Award normal values for the colours!
Maximum score is 27 points.
Push the Balls to the Top Cushion
Cluster the reds and colours against baulk cushion as shown.
Now push all the balls to the top cushion. With cue-ball placed for first shot only clear the table, taking the balls in any order.
Award normal values for the balls potted!
Maximum score is 42 points.
